NOCGI (New Orleans Creative Glass Institute) will have special gallery hours for the holiday season. The show room will be open every Saturday thru December 19th from 12pm to 3pm. There will be glass blowing demonstrations and a make your own glass ornament station during that time. A variety of glass art made by local artists from the area are represented. This is the perfect place to find a one-of-a-kind gift and support your local artists and community. I will be there on Saturday, December 12 with a selection of my shiny baubles.Fresh from the Flames pictured at left:

A little birdie told me Kermit Ruffins will be visiting the Music Tent sometime during the day to celebrate his birthday and autograph his cd's. Reminicent of Dr. John's visit maybe? Hhhmmm. You just might need to show up to find out...
(note the December show is early for Christmas shopping. I will be a vendor at the Saturday market days only but a real good chance you'll see me wandering the walkways on Sunday, Dec. 20th.)
